Colorado Springs is known for its active community, scenic trails, and outdoor recreation. From hiking at Garden of the Gods and Red Rock Canyon Open Space to cycling, running, and commuting across the city, daily activities can place added demands on the muscles and joints. Combined with long hours at a desk or physically demanding occupations, these habits often contribute to neck pain and headaches, shoulder pain, elbow pain, knee pain, and ankle pain and sprains. Recognizing these common causes early can help residents stay active and reduce the impact of ongoing discomfort.
Many people in Colorado Springs balance office work with outdoor adventures, creating a mix of prolonged sitting and sudden physical activity. Poor posture, muscle tension, repetitive movements, and extended screen time can all contribute to neck pain and recurring headaches. Early assessment and guided movement strategies can improve flexibility, reduce stiffness, and support better daily function before symptoms become more limiting.
Shoulder and elbow pain frequently affect individuals who enjoy rock climbing, tennis, weight training, and other recreational activities popular throughout Colorado Springs. Repetitive lifting, overhead work, and physically demanding careers can also increase strain on these joints. Improving strength, mobility, and movement mechanics through personalized physical therapy can help support recovery while promoting safer participation in work, fitness, and outdoor recreation.
Walking neighborhood parks, hiking Pikes Peak area trails, and participating in local sports can place repeated stress on the knees and ankles. Uneven terrain, sudden direction changes, and previous injuries may increase the risk of knee pain and ankle sprains. Professional assessment helps identify the underlying movement patterns contributing to discomfort, while individualized exercise programs can improve stability, restore confidence, and support a safe return to the activities Colorado Springs residents enjoy.

You self-schedule your free 15-minute consult. At your consult, we'll talk about your movement goals and any pain you're experiencing. We'll then get you scheduled for your Body Assessment.
Schedule your 30-minute Body Assessment and complete the Self Report you’ll be emailed upon scheduling. Log in to your HIPPA-compliant patient portal 5-10 mins before your visit. Be dressed in something you can move in!
Start your 8-week program the next day with your first Home Exercise Playlist, which you’ll access through your patient portal or our PTEverywhere app. Your program will change each day with exercises cycling in and out, so logging in daily is important.
Schedule a 15-minute check-in (recommend 1-2 weeks after the Body Assessment). Know that if something comes up or if you're not making expected gradual progress, you can schedule 15-minute check-ins anytime!
We want to know how you're doing and the patient message board is a great way to give us updates or seek clarification on less urgent issues.
